Welcome
Stickin’ Together Fisheries has fished the salmon runs of Bristol Bay for three generations. We have a proud legacy of sustainable fishing in the last great wild sockeye run on earth.
discover a new industry
Commercial fishing in Alaska is a time-honored tradition of skilled-tradesman-ship and good pay. The fishing season runs from the start of June to mid July, so it won’t conflict with any of your classwork either. If you want to break into industry, Stickin’ Together Fisheries is the place to start.
Fishing with Stick’n Together opens a world of opportunities.
What you’ll need
Stick’n Together will provide food, airfare, and travel costs. However, there are some items that you will need to bring with you.
What to expect
Fishing is a different way of life. Here are some of the things that you will be doing this summer. We fish from setnets attached to the beach with a series of running-line (high-strenth rope), pulleys, booeys, and screw anchors. You will be taught how to safely set the net, work it with skiffs and reel trucks, and prepare for the next opening.

Before you go
Before you head out to the bay, there are some forms that you will need to complete. These have to do with your payment agreement and food requests, so it is in your best interest to send them to us in a timely manner.
